Celebrating the life of a loved one is a meaningful way to cherish and honor their memory.   If you are Planning a Celebration of Life at an Outdoor Venue near Orlando, Florida you will want to consider the Heart D Farm Wedding & Event Venue.  Our venue is situated on 30 pristine acres in the middle of surrounding ranch land.  You will immediately feel the peace and serenity of the farm when you enter.  The moving clear enclosure in our Big Barn Pavilion will protect you and your guests from inclement weather while providing unobstructed views. It is the perfect private location for any beautiful event.  Our packages include tables with white linens, chairs, food tables, whiskey barrels with tops for memory items, drink dispensers and an assortment of decor. Here are some ideas and tips to help you plan a memorable celebration.

Our Big Barn Pavilion is solid white on the front and partially on the side.  We have two sets of stained cedar wood barn doors on the front.  The sides are also enclosed with our moving clear enclosure which is actually sliding clear vinyl doors for unobstructed views of open pastures.

When selecting a venue, consider the number of guests, accessibility, and amenities such as seating and restrooms. We can easily seat 160 guests and our restrooms are air conditioned and are handicap accessible with 3 stations each for ladies and gentlemen.

1. Personalize the Event

Make the celebration unique by incorporating personal touches that reflect your loved one’s life and personality:

  • Personalized Slide Show Our personalized slide show is unlike most any other venue. We create a custom site for you, your family and friends to upload photos. This makes it easy for others to share photos you may otherwise be unable to obtain. Sharing photos will give your guests the opportunity to share in the celebration. At the event we will have the slideshow playing throughout the celebration on a television we provide. Our personalized slide show will no doubt be a highlight of the day. After your event we will email you the slideshow for an added keepsake.
  • Memory Boards and Photo Displays: We do our best to personalize our custom memory tables with decor that accents the personality of your loved one. We have an assortment of easels and tables for placement of photos, mementos, and other items that are relative to their lives.
  • Favorite Music: Create a playlist of songs that were meaningful to your loved one and we can softly play the background music on our sound system.
  • Guest Participation: We will set up a table for your guestbook. You may also want to provide a container where guests can share written notes of their favorite memories.
  • Themed Decor: We have an assortment of decor to reflect their hobbies or past times. We can help you by decorating with their favorite colors, flowers or accents as inspiration.
Inside the big barn pavilion we are set up for 170 guests with round tables with white linens and four stained wooden farm tables with crossback chairs.  The backdrop is the solid front part of the barn showcasing the large stained barn doors.  The clear sliding vinyl doors keep out the wind and rain while allowing unobstructed views of the open pastures.

3. Coordinate Activities

Engage your guests with meaningful activities that celebrate your loved one’s life:

  • Memory Sharing: It is a lovely idea to allow family and friends to share warm stories and memories.
  • Planting Ceremony: Honor their memory by planting a tree or flowers.

4. Plan for Comfort

Our Big Barn Pavilion allows for an Outdoor Experience while providing shade and protection

  • Shade and Seating: Our Big Barn Pavilion with the moving clear enclosure offers shade and and the doors can be opened to enjoy rural cross breezes. We will also picnic tables with umbrellas outside or have benches set under the ancient oaks to encourage your guest to mingle and share memories. We can set up our space for a service only or if you would like seating for a meal, we can provide tables and chairs for around 160 guests.
  • Refreshments: We offer packages with beverages such as water, tea, lemonade and coffee. You may also add on light refreshments such as desserts and vegetable trays. We know it is important to keep your guests comfortable, hydrated and energized.
  • Weather Contingency: Although we are an open-air venue our Big Barn Pavilion is constructed to mitigate wind and rain while still enjoying the serene view of the farm.

5. Work with Professionals

Hiring experienced vendors can make the planning process smoother:

  • Catering Services: If you choose to provide a meal we can offer you our preferred vendor list of caterers. They will work with you to choose a menu that compliments your loved one’s tastes and preferences.
  • Event Planners: Our staff can help you plan your event from start to finish, or we can provide you with a list of preferred vendors who have worked with our venue and know what we have to offer. We do not receive any compensation for referring vendors, we simply want our guests to have the best experience possible.
  • Floral Arrangements: You may choose to have a few fresh florals and/or allow us to provide our faux florals to add to the decor and compliment your vision and the outdoor setting.

  • Charitable Contributions: You may want to set up a station for charitable contributions for a cause that was important to them.
  • Memory Keepsakes: A sweet way to create a lasting token is to perhaps offer seed packets or custom bookmarks, as a way for guests to remember the celebration.

The oak tree in the yard has two large staghorn ferns suspended the branches. There is a golden golden glow of evening.

7. Capture the Moments

Family and friends will appreciate these meaningful images and videos to cherish as keepsakes. We will also be happy to share any photos we take during the day. We will make every effort to make the day the best it can be.
